Pasaan, the emblematic landmark at the confluence of the Ping, Wang, Yom, and Nan rivers in Nakhon Sawan, heralds the birthplace of the mighty Chao Phraya River, the lifeblood of Thailand. This architectural ode to unity is not just a mere structure; it stands as a testament to the confluence of cultures, histories, and the waters that have shaped the land's destiny.
The Headwaters of the Chao Phraya River Symbol Building, with its sleek, modern design, rises gracefully at Laem Ko Yom, offering panoramic views that embrace the merging waters. This place, known as Pasaan, symbolizes the coming together of separate streams to form the Chao Phraya, much like the coming together of paths in life.
Visitors to Pasaan are greeted by the tranquil ambience that pervades the site. The waters, calm at the juncture, seem to acknowledge their own significance before continuing their journey towards the Gulf of Thailand. Here, one can ponder the silent flow of nature's veins, the rivers that have nourished civilizations and witnessed the passage of time.
The building itself is a modern marvel, its architecture reflecting the fluidity and the convergence of the rivers. It serves as a vantage point, a place of contemplation where the murmurs of the rivers below become a harmonious symphony, narrating tales of yore to those who listen.
At Pasaan, one does not simply observe the rivers; one experiences the essence of Nakhon Sawan, the city's name literally translating to 'Heavenly City'. It is a crossroads of Thailand's hydrology and spirituality, a place where the rivers do not just pass by—they speak, they bless, and they unite.
A visit to the Headwaters of the Chao Phraya River Symbol Building is more than an excursion; it is a pilgrimage to the cradle of the river that cradles a nation. It is an encounter with the elemental force that feeds the fields, the cities, and the hearts of the...

Phasan is where Ping River and Nan River combine and become Chao Phraya, the most important river through central Thailand. I admired the Phasan's architecture that reflects this meaning. The location is so beautiful, and the atmosphere is great. If you want to visit here, I suggest to go there in early morning, or late evening since and sunlight is so strong during the day. However, there are few things I'd like to see an improvement. Firstly the route to access this location is still under development. And secondly the restroom there on the day I visited had left only one functionally. I saw a long line of people waiting to enter one restroom that served both male and female. Anyway, Phasan is still the place I highly recommend for anyone who comes to Nakhon Sawan City. The architecture with its view is very much worth...
