Karom Waterfall — Attraction in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

This is without a doubt the nicest waterfall that I've seen in Thailand so far. Even better than the famous Erwan falls in Kanchanaburi. In fact, this is one of the few national parks in Thailand where I consider the 200B park fees for foreigners to be justified.

There are a total of 7 waterfall stages, with the most spectacular being the one near the entrance and the last one (#7), about 1km walk from the parking lot. We visited in the dry season, when water levels are lower, but still were in awe by the force of the water and the beauty of this park. Everything is super well maintained and labelled. There are several picnic spots on the way to level 7 and the entire walkway is paved. Many signs along the path explain the local vegetation, all signs are in Thai and English.

The waterfall is located in Khao Luang National Park, and entrance fee is 200B...

visited this place during Feb, water quality is not much but still enough to enjoy swimming and scenery. vest suit provided all swimmable area as well as lifeguard. walk straight from begin to last stop can be done so fast. Toptop level also have hand writing from King. but that can't be seen anymore only...

แต่สิ่งที่ต้องระวังก็คือเรื่องของความปลอดภัยเพราะในบางชั้นของน้ำตกเจ้าหน้าที่จะห้ามลงไปเล่นน้ำเนื่องจากหากเกิดพลัดตกจากชั้นนั้นลงมามันจะไหลลงไปยาวจนไม่มีที่สิ้นสุดซึ่งอันตรายมากแต่ดีที่ตามแต่ละจุดนั้นจะมีเจ้าหน้าที่ในการดูแลรักษาความปลอดภัยอยู่ตลอดทุกระดับชั้นคอยให้ความช่วยเหลือตอนที่เฮียไปเล่นได้โดยประมาณก็ 4 โมงเย็นนะจากนั้นเจ้าหน้าที่ก็จะมาเรียกให้กลับลงไปด้านล่างได้รอบนี้เสียดายเดินขึ้นได้แค่ชั้น 5...
