Beaches are trashed. Difficult to get around town unless you have a vehicle. There is no rideshare or even a taxi available aside from some motorbikes in town. We asked the resort that we stayed at if they had someone available to drive us around and they said no. Too bad as we would have paid them substantially. The resorts were mostly empty. They really should get together and work to clean up their beach. I was very sad to see so much plastic trash. The night market along Sichon Beach was nice though. Very good seafood and friendly people found there. On a brighter note I did see one local businesses cleaning up trash but overall they have a trash problem there. I wouldn’t recommend it...
