The Khao Lampi Hat Thai Muang National Park is a beautiful National Park with a approximately 32 kilometers long stretch of white sandy beach and clear blue seawater. There's besides the shoreline forest a large mountainous forest/jungle reserve with waterfalls and streams, lush green hills and a variety of wildlife. Read moreWow. Need to chill out? Try this beautiful beach empty unspoiled beach. A great stretch for a walk. There is an incredible sense of isolation which is beautiful. Great for a long long swim if you’re a swimmer. The beach south of the park is also beautiful and it’s free. Wonderful seafood restaurants in Thai Muaeng beach. The fee for admission therefore keeps Thai people out so the turtles can be left alone to nest. If you in don’t want to get in a boat to go to the similans, this is an excellent mainland alternative. Also, check out the turtle research center and museum just outside the park. It’s absolutely amazing in a raw, anti-touristy way. I hate leaving this raving review because I’d hate to jeopardize the sleepy chilled out vibe by sending a bunch of tourists, but honestly it’s a great...
