Please be VERY careful about who you take your tour with! A lady offered us a 7-stop all-day tour with kayaking and snorkeling and priced us per person (nearly 8000 baht for 8 people). This price seemed expensive but with the amount of stops and activities, it seemed worth it.

The lady hurried us into the boat and made us pay before the trip. We only went to the floating village, kayaking, saw James Bond island (300 baht fee not included), and then driver headed back to the pier. When we asked why he was heading back, he said the other locations were too far, and that the water was too murky for snorkeling.

When we arrived back after 3 hours, we were upset and wanted to ask the lady why we did not go to the places that were advertised. One other lady at the pier told us the tour should have been no more than 3000 baht. The lady that sold us the tour was not there anymore, and when we called her she was very rude and hung up the phone. The tourist police in Phuket were extremely kind and helpful, and made the woman refund some of the money, but we were very disappointed by the lack of honesty and feeling like we were ripped off.

I have never had an experience like this in Thailand before and hope that the lady is no longer associated with this...

The scenery is really pretty cause we are in the national park. The guide is very friendly and helpful however her english isn't very good. You have to guess what she's trying to say most the time. We went to the island on the thai rainy season so we're stuck in the storm while we were on the island. There were at least 200 people on the island considering there are 4 to 5 boats carrying at least 50 people to the island. When you get there you will see shops that sells really pearls and other jewelry at a high price. The island is very crowded so it is very hard to get a good pictures of you and the scenery itself. I recommend to bring your own towel if you want to swim because there are no towels for hire on the island. I also recommend you have a spare pair of shoes for hiking and flip flops for the sandy beach as the island can be slippery when it is wet. This place is not a wheelchair friendly place since you have to get off the boats. I do not recommend bringing toddlers because there are no entertainment on site apart from...

There's nothing quite like showing your friends pictures of yourself and your significant other at a remote exotic location that everybody recognizes. They'll be green with envy when you send images from James Bond Island. Of course, the spot was made famous in the movie, “The Man with the Golden Gun”. Strike your best “Bond” pose in front of the James Bond Island sign.

The James Bond Island tour includes a cruise through Phang Nga Bay - about 25 kilometers north-east of Phuket. Admire stunningly beautiful rocky cliffs rising dramatically out of the sea. Paddles kiss the shimmering waters as you canoe through limestone caves and mangrove forests. The Muslim fishing village on Koh Panyee is another attraction on the tour. James Bond Island is the second-most popular tour-experience in Phuket. Khao Phing Kan means "hills leaning against each other" in Thai, reflecting the connected nature of the islands. Waters around the island are only few metres deep and are...

James Bond Island, officially known as Khao Phing Kan, is a famous tourist destination in Phang Nga Bay, Thailand. The island gained international fame after being featured in the 1974 James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun.” James Bond Island is renowned for its stunning natural beauty. The most iconic feature is the towering limestone karst, called Ko Tapu, which juts out dramatically from the emerald-green waters of Phang Nga Bay. The contrast between the towering rock formations, the clear blue sky, and the lush greenery makes for a breathtaking and picturesque setting.

I recently visited a mangrove forest and it was absolutely breathtaking! The lush greenery of the mangrove trees created a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Walking along the wooden boardwalks, I was able to observe the diverse ecosystem of the forest, including various species of birds, fish, and crustaceans. It was a truly immersive experience that allowed me to appreciate the beauty of nature. I would highly recommend visiting a mangrove forest to anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to witness the wonders of the natural world.
