A nice caving experience, if you are not claustrophobic.
A small rowboat with two guides will take you inside the cave. The first section is very low and narrow, the guides will ask you to "go sleep" which is the que to lay back. you have to lay completely flat on the boat to avoid hitting the overhead stalactites. After a few minutes the ceiling get's taller and you can sit up again to admire the beauty of this cave. The guides will point out different formations and what they resemble: Elephant, Lotus, etc. There is no lighting in the cave but the guides have a big wide angle LED light that they hand you to illuminate and shine wherever you like. They will also offer to take pictures of you with your camera. Entrance is charged by boat, not person. Max 4 passengers per boat. The boat fee is 400B for foreigners, 200B for Thai. We showed our Thai driving licenses and manage to get the local price. We don't know what rate they would charge for Thai/foreign mixed couples.
We would have rated this experience with 5 stars, until we went to 'Tham Le Khao Kob' in Trang province, which is next level, and does not have dual pricing for foreigners

Read moreMUST GO EXPERIENCE WHEN IN PHATTULUNG!!! We chanced across this when visiting the nearby hot springs. This is completely underrated and was the highlight of our trip!!
You take a boat (300baht for a boat for 4pax) to enter the limestone cave. You have to lie completely flat on the boats while inside so this may not be suitable for all elderly. It was amazing. You see bats and all the amazing natural formation from inside the cave. It was AMAZING.
The entire trip took about 30mins. It can get crowded so cater abit more time especially when it's peak. We arrived at 11am on a Saturday and was lucky to be the only ones. When we left at 12pm there was a queue of ~20pax
This needs to be marketed more. What a hidden gem ! You should totally do this over the hot springs if you have to choose. May not be suitable for those who are...
Read moreThis is a great experience and you must try it. For foreigners it's 400 bht a boat Thai 200 bht. The boat takes 4 or 5 people and includes 2 thais one is a guide the other paddles and holds a light. In some places you like down in the boat because it's a tight squeeze but it's completely safe the guides take care of you. It opens to bigger areas and the rock formations are amazing. Lots of bats but they don't come near you they are scared of the light. A great spot for a picnic also takes your own food. There is a massage shop there also 150 bht for an hour the ladies are so good at massage very relaxing. I highly recommend this tourist attraction.lots of monkeys around also but they are not...
