This historical monument is worth visiting if you're into Thai history.

Located next to an army base and school, it features seven kings from four periods spanning from the late 13th to the early 20th century.

All had contributed significantly to the development of Thailand. 1 - King Ramkhamhaeng created the Thai alphabet. 2 - King Naresuan gained independence from the Burmese empire. 3 - King Narai is credited with preventing Thailand from being colonized. 4 - King Taksin reunified the country from warlords. 5 - King Rama I successfully halted the last major invasion by Burma. 6 - King Mongkut (Rama IV) contributed to Thailand's modernation, including improving women's rights. 7 - King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) ensured the centralization of power and the creation of the current system of provinces and districts.

There is a free trolley that picks up and drops off visitors at the museum next to the parking lot, taking them on a short ride to and from the monument and parade ground. The trolley comes around about every 10 minutes.

Be aware that there's no shade directly in front of the monument, but thankfully, you can purchase umbrellas and cold drinks at the nearby trolley drop-off point. Though there are only a few...

Rajabhakti Park is one of Hua Hin’s latest attractions.

Standing in a line against a backdrop of forested hills are seven giant statues of great Kings from Thai history. An impressive sight, the bronze statues measuring nearly 14 meters tall honour great Kings of various era in Thai history, namely Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Thonburi and Rattanakosin. Each statue carries a plate with the name of the King and period of reign.

Rajabhakti Park was built by the army and was opened in September 2015 by HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. The large park South of Hua Hin town was developed to demonstrate the Thai people’s loyalty to the Royal institution.

The site is clean and well maintained. Since there is little shade around it can get quite hot. Drinks are sold at a stall near the car park. Visit the park in the morning to get the best photos, as the sun will be facing the...

Here you can stand amongst Kings; seven of Thailands greatest, memorialised here with these giant Statues. There is a huge concrete area in front of the Statues with Floodlights on each corner. I assume this serves a purpose for large assemblies of people for organised events and national days. There are several food/drink stalls at the reception area together with a small shrine with miniature copies of the Statues. Definitely worth a visit, but other than the Statues, nothing else here. Tip.. Come early, I was there just after opening time at 8.00am and had the space to myself for nearly 20 mins. Also the Statues face East, so you get the best light for photographing the Statues early on. It's obviously also cooler
