Recommend seeing this very nice aquarium. Many sea animals and fish that are from the local area. There is a huge emphasis on conservation and protecting the natural resources and wild life of Thailand. There are some maintenance and clean up needed for some of the outside back area (beautification and upkeep of the property needed). Price is very affordable at ฿30 adult and ฿20 child entrance to aquarium. The Waghor complex has a butterfly enclosure (free entrance) not many butterflies (and it is butterfly season); so a little disappointing. Next to butterfly enclosure is an exotic bird and insect building that was closed (maybe due to the holiday weekend). Between the aquarium and the butterfly enclosure there is a planetarium with big science yard activities. Planetarium was closed (maybe due to the holiday weekend) and the outdoor equipment was poorly maintained. I am a scientist and teacher and felt like a kid in a candy store with this giant physics science kits to play with. It would be nice if they would do some upkeep here. There is also a monument to King Mongkrut (I think he is Rama 4). There are beautiful abandoned beaches here and covered tables for picnics, outdoor recreation areas for kids. There are signs on the beach -NO SWIMMING-. The beach is more than a kilometer from end to end and a sidewalk along the road if you dont want sand in your sandles. At the front of the complex there is a train museum, could be interesting for any rail-way nerds (I like trains, but didnt have time to stop...

However... a big HOWEVER... the fish and sea animals there look super healthy and all are in big size. How big? Puffer fish a size of a coconut fruit (biggest ever I have seen.) And starfish around a foot wide! They all seem to be happy living there.
Plus every 14:00 o'clock there willbe feeding show in the big fish tank. All the fish there are very clever cute... They seem to know when is the feeding time very well.
Very cheap - adult 30 Baht and kid 20 Baht. Worth every Baht you pay and a good...
