Wat Khao Daeng — Attraction in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

We have visited here several times in the past 11 years. Sadly it does appear to be in need of some maintenance, roof tiles missing and ornamental walls broken, however it appears they are building a large golden buddha in front of the small temple nearest the road. Beautiful temple, although a bit run-down. But the scenery is great with the mountains in the back. Well worth to make the short trip of the main road that leads trough the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. Beware of the not so friendly dogs there and their shit...
