Kaew Chan Waterfalls — Attraction in Ratchaburi Province

Great place as the entry fee is the SAME for locals and foreigners. The area can get quite busy. But if you walk further up the waterfall away from the main entrance you will be able to find yourself a quiet private area away from everyone. Highly recommend bringing a picnic. The water is very cool, which is lovely and refreshing in the hot Thai weather. Some of the parts of the waterfall have deep 'ponds' so do be careful if your swimming is not a strength or you have young kids. I would recommend wearing waterproof shoes as well as there are some sharp stones in the water along with peoples discarded 'rubbish' of glass and tins. So keep a look out for those when you get...

บนน้ำตกชั้นที่เก้าที่นี้ มีแต่ความสวยงาม ชื่นอก ชื่นใจ สดชื่นเป็นที่สุด หนึ่งคือได้จากใจของตัวเองที่พิชิตทั้งเก้าชั้นมาได้ สองคือได้จากธรรมชาติสีเขียวที่รายล้อมอยู่รอบ และคุณรู้หรือเปล่าว่าน้ำตกที่นี่มีทั้งสิ้นสิบสี่ชั้นด้วยกัน แต่มันจะลึกเข้าไปอีก ทั้งผืนป่าและเส้นทางอันตรายเกินกว่าที่พวกเราจะไปเยือนได้ มีเพียงเหล่าผู้พิทักษ์ป่าเท่านั้นที่จะใช้เป็นเส้นทางเดินสำรวจธรรมชาติ และคอยดูแลรักษาผืนป่าแห่งเทือกเขาตะนาวศรี
