Wat Plong Sawai is a place of peace that lots of Buddhists come to make merit. In the past, "Luang Por Wad Inthachot" who is famous for treating ailment in the east. There are beautiful churches, cathedrals and also a memorial of King Taksin and the 4 soldiers. There is Phra Somdej Toh Tara Thep Samut, Phra Pang Ham Samut; a large white standing Buddha image that is about 15 meters high, located on the top of the hill of Wat Plong Sawai. From the top of the hill, you will see the panoramic view of the sea, Laem Mae Phim Beach. Plus, the atmosphere up there is fresh and chill. However to get there, you will have to climb more than 160 steps (actually, there is the way up for the car, but it's rocky, which may be a little difficult). For those who wants to see this picturesque view of Laem Mae Phim Beach by yourself, visit Wat Plong Sawai, Chak Phong Subdistrict, Klaeng District, Rayong Province.

History Wat Phlong Sawai, a cultural attraction of Rayong with a gigantic white standing Buddha image that is about 15 meters high, located on the top of the hill of Wat Plong Sawai which is open to the general public to pay the respect. Wat Phlong Sawai, the White Temple Wat Phlong Sawai, Provinz Rayong.
