Amazing experience! I walked up to the cave itself and enjoyed some beautiful views along the way. There’s also a small temple nearby. The real magic happens at dawn, though, when the sun begins to set. You’ll first spot a few small groups of bats, and then suddenly, large swarms appear, some even flew right over my head! I was lucky enough that some locals invited me to eat with them, which made the experience even better. You can also see the bats from the area with the tables. The cave is not far from the viewpoint, making it easy to visit. The entrance fee is a bit expensive, 400 THB and it's 30 THB for...

Visited in April, sunset at 6.36pm officially, bats came out at 6.40pm (this will obviously depend on the time of year). We'll worth a visit, an amazing sight to see so many (millions) bats. Only negative, as foreigners the entry fee is over 10 times that of a local. (As of April 2023 400baht). We're a family of 5 so wasn't expecting that. Still an amazing sight and a nice place to...
