Old Phuket Farm — Attraction in Thep Krasatti

We did a cooking class here and it was just amazing!!! This is a hidden gem in Phuket. We got a little tour of the farm where they showed us how rice is planted, what it looks like when it's harvested and then they showed us how chili paste is made and a few other things.. Then it was time for cooking and I can't describe how fun it was! We made 5 different traditional Thai dishes and our instructor was amazing, she showed us step by step how to make everything. Her English was perfect and she was very pedagogical. We had our 5 year old daughter cooking with us and she loved it (we also had our 8 months old but he was happy watching from his buggy, supervising😉).. It was an amazing family activity, definitely not to be missed if you come to Thailand for a family holiday. It's suitable for all ages.. Absolutely loved it here! The food in the restaurant is mainly Thai cuisine but they do offer a couple of western options. The drinks were phenomenal especially the sodas! Quite expensive as it was over 1000 baht for 4 drinks and 2 meals but it was worth it. The farm itself is lovely. They have 4 times a day where they will walk you around and talk your through everything and we got there just after it had departed so rather than waiting we paid to just walk around ourselves which was only 200 baht each (the tour price wasn’t expensive either I think it was around 550 baht). They did cooking classes which looked good from afar and I absolutely fell in love with Jook the bull, such a gentle giant!
