Thi Lo Su Waterfall — Attraction in Tak Province

Nestled in the middle of an evergreen flora and fauna is this beautiful pristine scenic breathtaking waterfall ‘Thi Lo Su’. Or directly drive an hour from to the National park. However, the rafting experience is mesmerizing through the deep ravines and rapids. Thailand biggest waterfall and the 6th biggest in the world. Should only be visited during the dry season (winter) the roads can not be driven during the rainy season. Someone said they let the nature heal that is wrong they can not just accesses the area even with a 4 wheeler. We managed to get in with a Honda CRV and that is a 2 + wheel and we made it but if you have a normal car you can not make it even during the dry season. If you not have the right car take a river boat, however they do not guarantee it will flip over so bring a water proof bag. Many of the hotels will claim you can not drive there but you CAN they just trying to sell you a tour. Remember the way back is on the back of a pickup it takes about two hours in the sun so bring hats and the right clothing's the river way is ONE way. We tried to camp (only people there doing it) sadly the rangers working there were drunk so we did not feel secure so we camped at the office where the road starts. I'm sure if you go during the season where there is a lot of river flow it is a 5 star destination for sure as it is by far the largest waterfall I have visited in Thailand out of dozens. The waterfall isn't truly huge, it's just big enough to be almost truly impressive.

I would really recommend only going if the rivers are full otherwise the journey of 4 hours in and 4 hours out is not worth it.

The drive there is amazing so if you're on a motorbike you can consider it a drive just for fun and stay a night and enjoy whatever the waterfall might be as an add on if you would like. The locals told me I cannot go with a bike and while the road is in mediocre condition there are only 2 or 3 parts where it is hard at all. I did not verify with the park rangers if they also ban bikes going in. This can save you a huge amount of money, a pickup to go there is 2,500 Baht for 2 slow, 30km, 40...
