As a tourist you will have to pay an entrance fee to the national park and then another fee to use facilities. They have shared natural pools and private onsen. The tourist pools are natural spring water. People are not allowed to soak in the first spring because it is the source for the other springs. There are varying pools of different temperatures, but are not that clean. Local unsupervised kids wash themselves in the spring with soap, which is not allowed but the parents are socializing in a different area and there is no one to reinforce rules.
