...A beach in Thailand Located in the area of Mai Fat Subdistrict, Sikao District, Trang Province, it is currently under the care of Hat Chao Mai National Park, which is nearby. It is one of the famous beaches and a popular tourist destination in Trang Province. It is known as one of the first tourist attractions that people often think of and go to in Trang Province. ...Pak Meng Beach is approximately 35 kilometers from Mueang Trang District. It is a crescent-shaped beach next to the Andaman Sea of the Indian Ocean. When the tide is lowest, it is 500 meters wide, so much so that a car can be driven down. Because the sand is dense enough to support the weight of a car. There is an observation point: a giant man-shaped horn lying on its back. It is called "Khao Meng" or "Ko Meng" which is the origin of the name. which comes from the folk tale of Old Meng An old fisherman who is about to marry his daughter named Muk to Phraya Lanta. There is great beauty at sunset. It is flanked by 5 kilometers of sea pine trees. Next to Hat Chao Mai National Park, there are also 2 concrete bridges that are popularly used as fishing grounds. In addition, It is also the location of Pak Meng Pier. Which is a pier that sends tourists to various islands in the sea area of Trang Province such as Ko Mook, Morakot Cave, Ko Ngai.

One of Thailands still hidden gems. There is everything you need here. There are resorts, great restaurants right on the beach and shops to cater for anything else you may need. We have visited a few times the beach is beautiful, clean and very quiet! It has the picturess views too. If you are looking for a little slice of heaven still not over-run then have a look here. Big thank you to our hosts at Sunny Hill Pool Villa that reccomended us. We are huge, huge fans

Avoid crowded? this is your best choice! and Pak Meng also have a pier to Mook, Kradaan, Ngai Island with a lots of local resort with very cheap price however you might need to find and arrange transportation before coming here as it's local with no taxi, Grab or Uber service so talk to the hotel! (you will find taxi or Grab at airport easily, so you can get contact with them for transportation as well)

Real Thailand. Even when tourists were allowed in to Thailand Pak Meng, this beach was a 'local' hotspot. Great selection of restaurants, plenty of "hawkers" plying great Thai snacks along the beach. One mall downside, it's a bit of a walk to the water when the tide is out. However, it's also a great view of Koh Ngai, Koh Mook and Koh Libong. Only a 30 minute drive from Trang, which in itself is a sleepy, rural Thai town, and has some interesting tourist sites; caves, river rafting, National Parks etc. (Plus of course, many other beautiful islands for diving and snorkeling, Koh Lipe, a very popular tourist hotspot, and Koh Kradang, lovely, but...
