Huai Wang Nong — Attraction in Ubon Ratchathani Province

This reservoir is still under construction as at April 2025. The sidewalks are being finished and the reservoir dug deeper.

It will be a social focal point once completed in, maybe, 2027. But even now one can walk or cycle right around the 8km circumference and there are bars and restaurants available. There is also a bridge half way along for those who feel 8km is too much.

There are also a couple of beautiful temples along the Southern side whilst the bars are currently on...

ผมอยู่บ้านแถวนี้มาตลอด ถ้าเป็นสมัยก่อน ผมคงให้แค่ 2 ดาว แต่ในปัจจุบันนี้ผมขอให้ 5 ดาวเลยครับ ตอนนี้เมื่อเทียบกับแต่ก่อนแล้ว กลิ่นน้ำดีขึ้นเยอะ ไม่ส่งกลิ่นรุนแรงเหมือนแต่ก่อน ตอนนี้มีบันไดข้ามห้วยให้คนได้เดินเล่น ออกกำลังกาย มีฟิตเนส 20บาทด้วย มีวัดรอบด้าน ร้านแจ่วฮ้อนหรือร้านอื่นๆแถบนี้ ส่วนใหญ่อาหารก็อร่อยครับ ราคาไม่แพง เสียอย่างเดียวคือสวนสาธารณะข้างๆที่ยังไม่ได้รับการพัฒนาครับ ตอนนี้มีทั้งเศษอิฐเศษปูน และบางช่วงก็ถูกน้ำขัง แต่โดยรวมก็เป็นสถานที่ที่ดีครับ อาจไม่มีอะไรมากเท่าสถานที่ดังๆ แต่ก็ดูสบายๆ...
