Enjoyed, although as for so much of Gambia there are opportunities at Bijilo for the locals to show more of their culture in the way of maybe a sensitvely designed information centre that blends in with its surroundings at the official entrance..sorry to say if you keep walking through the park you come eventually to the beach. This unofficial entrance is a means of visiting the park and not paying! maybe this should be looked at and the money collected at the other entrance used to add facilities there also in order to boost the local economy and benefit the wildlife...

The country has suffered badly during the lockdown so be prepared to be asked for money everywhere you go.
