Wij bezochten deze plek samen met onze lokale taxigids en vonden het een bijzonder interessante ervaring. Hier krijg je de unieke kans om te zien hoe ambachtslieden met de hand prachtige souvenirs maken, die later in de lokale winkels worden verkocht. Opvallend is dat veel andere craft markets in Gambia hun producten juist hier inkopen. Hoewel veel winkels op elkaar lijken, is het de moeite waard om eerst even rond te kijken voordat je naar binnen stapt. Voor wie geĂŻnteresseerd is in authentiek handwerk en de lokale ambachten, is dit absoluut een bezoek waard!
