For me it's the best beach on Gower. The scenery, the sand, the sea is all first class! The walk to the beach takes about 25 mins and you have to have fairly decent mobility. I wouldn't say it's difficult but definitely not good for wheelchairs/prams and a little bit tricky for walking sticks, though I did see one person with a stick but pitied their walk ahead. The walk is beautiful through woodland and stream. The castle ruins on the hill we will explore next time. The tide is vast and goes out very far so lots of fun to explore the rock pools with little ones. The water is the cleanest I have seen in the area, absolutely crystal clear. Really is thee most beautiful beach that is friendly for dogs. Car park is £3 for the day and there's a van selling the most delish ice-cream after the trek back to the car. I cannot wait to go back to Three Cliffs Bay. What a stunner!

The Three Cliffs Beach is scenic, sandy beach, backed by three limestone cliffs is a spectacular shoreline of sand dunes. Three Cliffs bay is located on the south coast of the Gower, a thumb sized shaped peninsula situated in the centre of the south Wales coast. The beach is half an hour drive from the city of Swansea or a 90 minute drive from Cardiff. Check out this 3.7-km out-and-back trail near Overton, Swansea. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 46 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

It has many ways to go but look is mesmerizing no matter which way you go. highly recommended the walking shoes as you have to walk a lot. Also carrying a pair of extra one can be helpful as you may want to get wet. There is bit of stone cliffs to climb and to take beautiful pictures on the right side. There is cave type tunnle on the left. It is worth spending a whole day trip in here. Car park is available, whole day parking £4 (No option for few hours). Pay at Holiday Park shop and reception. Found a swing which is perfect for insta pics. Enjoy 😁

This place is beautiful! You can park at several places near by, and take two different routes. The route marked from Gower Heritage Centre leads through the ruins whilst the other to the right of the centre leads through a more even and glad path. Both are accessible at the beach as they connect. So you’ll end up at the same place. But yes so worth it. There are several trials that you can take, that will lead up to the cliffs. It’s pretty sandy to bring you’re best shoes. We brought hiking shoes.

Three Cliffs Bay is an amazing location that requires a little effort to get to but the rewards are well worth it. The beach is clean and often quiet during busy periods because of its accessibility. I recommend the walk from Shepherds corner shop in Parkmill through the golf course, past the ruins of Pennard Castle to take in the majestic views of this location before heading down the sand dunes to the beach. Walk will take 30-45 minutes each way.

Mit ♿️&🐕besucht: ♿️ Die Bucht wird als Rollstuhlungeeignet gekennzeichnet. Wir haben von der Krankenkasse ein Outdoor Set für unseren Rollstuhl bekommen. Es besteht aus 2 dicken Reifen und einem großen Vorderrad. Damit (und auch NUR damit) kann man diese wunderschöne Bucht über einen sehr steinigen und felsigen Pfad erreichen. Hierfür (nur mit starker Begleitperson!!!) den normalen Weg folgen aber nicht rechts den Trampelpfad (sau gefährlich mit Rolli) sondern geradeaus/leicht links den etwas längeren Pfad nutzen. Unsere Reifen haben den Weg ohne Probleme gepackt. Der Rückweg war beim Schieben natürlich sehr anstrengend aber für den tollen langen Tag am Strand hatte sich dies gelohnt. Unsere Tochter hatte es dort sehr genossen. Es ist sehr weitläufig und besonders bei Ebbe kann man mit dem Rolli sogar in die kleinen "Höhlen". Nur mit Erfahrung und starken, gesunden Armen zum Schieben probieren. Sonst sein lassen!!!! Evtl auch hilfreich aber leider konnte uns die Dame die am Parkhaus arbeitet nichts hierzu sagen. Es gibt einen flachen Strand den wir bei Ebbe von der 3 cliffs bay aus besuchen konnten. Vielleicht gibt es dort einen besseren und leichteren Zugang. 🐕: Erlaubt. Es sind viele freilaufende Hunde unterwegs, daher Hund nur bei guten Rückruf und Sozialisierung frei laufen lassen.
