This is a well-known archaeological site in Mu'a, Tonga. There are ancient stone structures known as langi, or royal tombs on the site. These tombs, constructed with large coral limestone instead of coral sandstone, date back to the 16th century Tu'i Tonga dynasty.

Increible sitio. Muy desconocido por turistas. La entrada es gratuita. Es un antiguo yacimiento arqueológico que muestra la arquitectura de la temprana civilización tongana. El sitio cuenta con grandes plataformas de piedra que se cree que se utilizaban con fines ceremoniales. Hay un pequeño aparcamiento antes de la entrada y la señal en la carretera es muy pequeña. Si te pasas tienes que dar la vuelta por un camino muy malo.

This was free to visit. These are some ancient royal tombs, which are different to the Royal tombs found in Nuku'alofa. They are made of ancient slabs, presumably coral, and cover a reasonable area. There are some information boards on site, but not much to tell you about...

Not much to see overall. Just a couple of mounds. The grounds are well maintained and it's free to enter, so still worth seeing if you're in the area. There are good...
