I recently spent a few days at Harry's Water Park. It was one of the best experiences ever!
Firstly, the cabins are well furnished with everything you need for a vacation and there is excellent Wi-Fi connection.
The kitchen had a sink, counters, stove with oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, cooking and eating utensils with a dining table and chairs. However, you must walk with your own matches, dishwashing liquid and scrubber.
The living room has two folded bed couches, TV with cable, no USB, stereo system and a TV stand.
There are two bedrooms, each equipped with a queen bed and Queen double bunk bed. Each room has a pair of Chest of drawers.
The front porch has a long beach chair and a normal chair.
The back porch which overlooks the lake has a BBQ pit, large ring stove, table, chairs, kitchen counter, sink and a patio swing chair with canopy.
Under the cabin there is a hammock and a plastic row boat for two people. Under the cabin is also great for fishing because it is immediately before the large lake. One may also use the boat to go out into the lake to fish.
Opposite the cabins, across the large lake, is the religious ground. There is a Temple, Mosque and Church there.
There is a also a trail to exercise.
Other facilities include a large swimming pool and a covered patio equiped with several long beach chairs.
Next to the pool is a private water play park.
Opposite the pool is a room with a few jacuzzis.
Next to the pool is the spacious car park.
The entrance to the cabins is closed and has good security. If one wants to exit, they must call security to do so.
In addition to all this, all cabins occupants have full access to the main water park, zoo and all its features.
Overall, the place is quite scenic, clean, well kept and organised. It was a truly serene experience.
This is truly worth your money.
However, I would still like to recommend to Mr. Harry that he considers a package for those who want to stay at the cabins but do not wish to partake in the main water park.
For me, the cabin was fun and quite adequate. I didn't go to the main park but still had to pay for the park under the present package arrangement.
Perhaps, he needs to consider including a barrier or pass that differentiates cabin dwellers from those who wish to enjoy both cabin and park, as this would make a difference in the pricing.
Nevertheless, I would like to thank Mr. Harry for his great vision and the fact that he is...
Read moreExcellent southern get away for the family. Friendly staff, safety briefing was well done.
The Nature park was well enjoyed with the kiddies and the log cabins are a great addition.
Fishing pond is clean and excellent for a day of fishing for those who don't want to slide as well as there are go carts and the zip line
Excellent place, activities for the entire family old and young. Entire day of fun. Ensure to walk with your spandex on nylon swimwear as cotton clothing isn't allowed on the slides as they cause you to stick midway and slow down. If not, their shop has a wide variety at a reasonable cost.
Recommendations:
Have a few hooks and a soap stand in the public showers so our soap won't have to be on the ground and the hooks can hang clothes to change one time instead of taking up a change room and a shower. This caused a long line up of persons waiting to change and shower on the busy days.
As it's a facility for children mostly, you can minimize smoking on the premises to smoking zones/areas maybe.
Install filtered water fountains throughout the facility by the activities and nature park. Customers usually leave their coolers and water behind when going to enjoy the facility.
Grant access to the water park to those renting the cabins.
Overall, it was a...
Read moreFun for everyone! I went on a 'slow' day and there were still some long lines, but that's because lots of big people are scared and have to be sweet talked by their friends to go down. Meanwhile the rest of s just wait around on this stairs clustered together while Jason is hyped enough to actually go on the slide.
The staff is very friendly and willing to help out an explain the area. They are very strict about the height requirements which seems rediculous because there are life guards at the bottom and I don't mean at a distance away. I mean an arms length and the attendants on top the slides look at the monitor. However, I can swim so maybe I'm biased. I'm just bummed out that the children couldn't go on all the rides.
The wave pool was not working so it was just a big flat pool.
I find the go cart races are a bit pricey. $25/ lap which takes 20 secs is silly.
For the $150/adult ticket it's not bad at all. If you think it's too much you can check out Fun Splash. You don't need to get a babysitter as everyone can go on the rides...
