Do not attempt to go on this tour without boots during wet season or any other time when there has been rain unless you like muddy feet. If you go with PTSC know your country tour, you will pay less than the normal admission fee but of course the ride is an additional cost and the waiting may not suit everyone. Tour guide at the Trust is very articulate but if you don't stay close to her you will miss what she says. After the tour, they bring out a pet snake and offer anyone to hold without first asking if they can approach you with a snake. If you have an irrational fear of snakes, this could be dangerous. Say hello or hola to the parrot near the office and it may reply. FYI: If you go outside of mating season (as we did in July) you will miss the chance to see the peacocks in all their glory since they will not be spreading their glorious tails but shedding them in preparation...

I've been going to the Wild-Fowl-Trust since I was a baby and every time I find myself excited no matter how old I am or how many times I've went. The scenery is great and it's a wonderful, educational and environmental tour with it's tour guides showing the way. I've always been amazed with seeing something new every time I go. For example, today, I went with my fellow classmates and actually saw one of the five enormous Pacu fish in the pond for the first time. Such an amazing sight. I truly wish for this place to prosper in preserving the birds and trees and hope that next year after I have finished my exams in June, I can come here to help out with the tours and taking care of the animals cause of the joy and excitement it brings to my heart to see animals such as these in such a...

Loved visiting this place with my family. The satnav didn't take kindly to its location on the way initially. Due to it not being updated with the road layout. Once you arrive, you feel completely engrossed in nature as there are many birds wandering around freely. The tour was very interesting and informative, you're sure to learn something new. It will also have a very positive impact on you in regards to our role and responsibility in taking care of our surroundings. Helping nature to thrive, as this will also benefit our very own existence. I would definitely recommend as many people as possible visit the Wildfowl Trust. It's a very small fee, and it's a lovely day out...

The entrance fee is reasonable and the place is nice and protected. They do alot considering its short staff. Tours are carried out twice a day and the animals are well kept as its meant to stimulate a natural environment. The facility makes the surrounding industrial area look good as it is in the middle of all the activities. The large area is home to many species of ducks and trees. Additionally there are nice books and charts on sale which should be patronised as they are a NGO and they are non profit. The tour lasts about an hour and there is plenty scenery to take pictures.

A quiet nesting site for birds and waterfowl in Pointe-a-Pierre. Call for reservations to take the tour (twice daily), or to walk alpng the trail unguided. Many muscovy ducks and whistling ducks to see upon the path, there is a breeding site for ducks and our own scarlet ibis. . The lotus flower is prominent in the ponds , as is water hyacinths and papyrus. Picnic spots and benches are available for use too.
