An absolutely stunning and beautiful Lookout Point on the Island of Trinidad, modified to be more 'User Friendly' with Basic Facilities (Washrooms, and Kitchen Sinks in the Cooking Huts) for all to enjoy. The views from atop here are astonishing and I'd say not comparable to any other on the Island.

Both the Security and Janitorial Staff were warm and pleasant, as well as respectful. I believe the Security Presence is a great asset to ensure every Visitor has a safe and enjoyable experience, as well as this will prevent vandalization by those mischievous Members of Society. The On-Site Janitorial Staff also plays a critical Role for maintaining a Standard that all can benefit from, given the Untidy (best word I can come up with) Members of Society.

Lastly, the Authorities must be commended, because yes the initial concept was executed, but to be bundled with holistic consideration for ongoing maintenance and upkeeping (Security and Janitorial Staff) it goes to show that thought went into this and it wasn't just a wasted Investment to be...

The view from any direction is breath taking. Getting to the lookout it is advisable to use the Fond Pois Doux road, off the North Coast road, although being concrete with some bumpy ridges to provide traction it is a whole lot easier to navigate than the Saut D'eau Road and does not require 30 years driving experience to make the trek. The facility boasts 4 viewing decks in all directions and it's amazing definitely worth the trip. Parking is limited (about twenty vehicles) , toilet facilities are available, no glass bottles or smoking allowed, it's a bit small so you probably won't stay more than one hour and a half, ( unless you went to meditate the purpose of life). Walking on the grass also isn't allowed. Walk with finger food and not a Sunday spread as seating areas are limited and must be shared. Overall it's a calming wonderful experience and I'll encourage the...

Beautiful views definitely worth the visit!

From the helpful and kind security guards to the enchanting scenery, La Vigie offers an unforgettable family-friendly outing to Paramin, Trinidad.

The facility is free to enter and is open from 5am to 8pm. Getting there is no problem once you have a 4WD vehicle. This may be the better option to use as there are steep hills.

There are four areas set aside for cooking but as of this review 12/11/22, it has not been fully set up yet. Looking forward to making use of it sometime!

The unparalleled view of the ocean, the Paramin hills and the few small islands off the north coast, made me feel happy to live in such a beautiful country. Also, if you get there at the right time, you might be lucky to see the Tobago ferry zipping by.

The bathroom facility was clean and the area was well-kept.

Definitely will...

The views are very nice here. The air is cool and has a different vybe altogether. Some days it can be a bit hazy at times and then clear where you can see further into the distance. If you are feeling adventurous and want a different driving experience, take the paramin road. However make sure your vehicle is in good condition (no radiator problems and good brakes) seeing that your car will have a high demand for power to go up those steep hills. If you are driving a hybrid, there is the possibility of the hybrid system getting overheated and can limit output power which can cause you to stall in unwanted situations along the hill/corners. If however you have a stress free and more calming drive use the north coast rd side.
