A serene beach on the southern coast of Trinidad. It's a dark sand beach with and lush surroundings. The drive to the beach is scenic, with views of rural south Trinidad, roads a not maintained.

While the water can be a bit rough at times, it’s great for swimming. Later in the afternoon the water does look a bit muddy. The beach is surrounded by greenery, life guards, there are picnic areas nearby and parking available

Facilities are limited, so it’s best to come prepared with your own food, drinks, and essentials. Quinam Beach is ideal for those who enjoy quiet, off-the-beaten-path locations and a more rustic...

Due to the effects of global warming the beach shore is now entirely submerged in water and hitting the rocks on the beach where we used to walk along and since the water is clashing against the rocks there is more current and riptide in the water and there is erosion but exceptions of that is that the view is magnificent especially from the view of the lifeguard and the drive was spectacular but I would suggest that if you go you must be extremely cautious. Also Stop Global Warming as you actually see what effects it has...

A very calm beach, very kid friendly and little waves. I really enjoyed taking the kids there. Not blue waters so don't go expecting that. The road really needs fixing but you can pass with any vehicle currently. There is an oilfield in the vicinity so the fumes are very pungent even on the beach. A good beach with potential and has attentive lifeguards.

To get to this beach you have to take into account that the street is in bad condition, the place is quiet, you can cook, there are spaces to sit and enjoy with your family, the water is cloudy most of the time
