Everything you could want with a beach combined with everything you could want with a park. There's a small entrance fee but that's not too troublesome.

From that point you enter a grassy path divided by a small road to the beach. Lots of coconut trees and other foliage to provide shade and one could easily put down a blanket and have a picnic there if sand is not your taste, along the way the coastline offers lovely secluded areas to swim if you might want to. The picture below was taken in one such spot.

The main area has everything a beach might need. Active lifeguards, cabanas and seating (though these will be limited when it's busy there), bars, restaurants, bathrooms, changing rooms (still public restrooms so expect public filth); outdoor showers pool style (won't always have water especially during the dry season) and shops selling anything you might need for the beach and some souvenirs if you like.

If you want to explore beyonce there are glass bottom boats willing to take you to explore the coral reef, the nylon pool etc. Jet skis, padle boards, scuba gear, kite surfing and other sports can be found as well.

Every time I visit Tobago this facility is a must. I went on Dec 31st 2017 With my family. I love the beach...my husband drove up to the cashier and ask how much for today.... The cashier said 20tt adults and 10tt for kids 5/11yrs...he said okay...he told her that the last time he came he had and emergency and left but didn't get to use the band from May 20th 2017.. She said she can't say about it and she doesn't know....he said no problem...this security came up to our vehicle and stated "that band not good we don't want to hear nothing we should call police for that band people buying it in the airport and coming here with it. That not good move from here." I told her "that's not the way you speak to people you have no customer care...before I can finish my statement" she said I is a security I don't have to have that eh girl" So I said okay and I left. That security need to be reassessed to deal and to speak to people. For you have to remember this a tourism site. Not because my family is not white you speak to my family this way . its goes for any and everybody regardless of race of creed. We are all human. We are all important people in this life and...

There is a reason this place is so popular, with locals and tourists alike. The sand is soft, the water is warm, and there is food and drink aplenty. If you get there early enough you can post up in cute little cabanas with picnic tables. If not, there are plenty of chairs to rent as well. We, of course, resorted to just picking a spot on the beach and laying our towels down. If you're interested in a glass bottom boat cruise out to no man's land / the nylon pools, or maybe learning to kite surf, or even taking a quick rip on some jet skis, there are plenty of tour operators roaming about all vying for your business (which can be a little annoying but a pleasant 'no thanks' usually does the trick and they won't bother you for the rest of the day). There is an entrance fee of about 20tt per person, but it's free to enter after 5pm. There are also a couple cute shops with floaties and beach wear for those who are interested. Definitely recommend going at least once to enjoy the good vibes...
