But, I'm giving 1 star only for the fact that I saw something that broke my heart and made my a bit sad, there's a kid there asking tourists to take pictures with his fenec, the poor little animal is visibly sad, malnourished and explored by heartless people that seek profit from forced child labour and to remove baby desert foxes from their nests to be completely mistreated. If you ever end up going there, please do not support this, you can see the suffering in the fox's eyes, heartbreaking really! The same is happening just a few km ahead in the star wars village! I hope the Tunisian authorities do...
Read moreThe rock formation itself is interesting, but be careful if you’re driving there without a 4x4 – the road is not in great condition and honestly it may not be worth the effort just for this stop. Some reviews and photos you’ll find are actually from the nearby Mos Espa set and not from Ong Jmal itself, which can be misleading. If you’re a Star Wars fan, it might hold more value, but otherwise I’d suggest thinking twice before taking that road...
