We travel frequently and to many countries, from small South American/Easter European cities to fancy European, North/Central America or Asian metropolis destinations, and I can say this "airport" is absolutely the worst. We have never had such an awful experience anywhere else in the world.

Flying in, our luggage took over an hour to finally show. There are men waiting for you to take your luggage off of your hands just to carry it to the taxi, expecting a tip obviously.

Flying out. There are long queues before entering the airport as they scan every single luggage/bag before even entering.

The air-conditioning is barely on.

The toilets are disgusting.

The only lounge before check-in won't let you bring your luggage in and you require to have a printed boarding pass (yes, a piece of paper, it doesn't matter if you have the digital one!). We got to the airport hours before flying to sort out our drone (drones are not allowed into the country so they stay at customs) and our airline didn't have a desk open at that time and they don't have an automatic kiosk (Lufthansa), so we couldn't get into the lounge or sort the drone until we had that piece of paper. A printed boarding pass is an antiquated method to run an international airport in 2024.

The whole place stinks and the floor is dirty.
