The tour guide gave us a good explanation in details on this underground city history. We were told to mind our heads and to bend low while passing through into each segment can be really low & narrow. There are multiple levels too thus need to climb up and down.
It was amazing how people live in this rooms/spaces which they made from cutting rocks. There is a big rock that is used as a sliding door to save them from invaders. The atmosphere inside is naturally cool, feels like 10C temperature.
Believe it or not, I honestly cannot imaging how do they live in this carved stones many centuries back, well I suppose it is indeed the only way to survive from being killed.

Read moreAbsolutely stunning ! I suggest to go here using tour guide suggested by your Goreme hotel because they are well knowing when and how to come before it get crowded. It would be suffocated down there if too many people.
Also coming with local guide would be more advisable because they can explain in details what would be behind each of the section under the underground city.
