I had the chance to visit Antalya Dim Cave, and it enchanted me with its natural beauty. The cave is situated by the Dim River, within Antalya's refreshing nature, and truly offers a unique experience. As I stepped into the cave, I was mesmerized by the stalactite and stalagmite formations and the impressive interior design. The play of light and the peaceful sound of water create an even more enchanting atmosphere. With its natural beauty and visual spectacle, the cave must be a fantastic spot for photographers. Especially on hot summer days, being inside the cave and next to the Dim River provided a delightful experience with its cool air. I had a serene time in this beautiful location embraced by nature. During my visit, the tour guide's explanations helped me learn more about the cave and how time shaped these stalactites, which left me in awe of the power of nature. Antalya Dim Cave is a great option for visitors as it is close to the city center and easily accessible. The positive reviews I read from tourism offices and online platforms played a significant role in planning my visit, and I truly found more than I expected.

Dim Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Turkey. The stalactites and columns inside the cave are very ornate and rich, worth seeing. It is 11 km from Alanya and is flooded with visitors due to the picnic areas and forests around it. The cave is open to visitors throughout the year. There is a restaurant that can serve 150 people within the Dim Cave facilities. There is a viewing terrace and binoculars in the cave to watch the Mediterranean, Alanya and Alanya Castle, and a section of the Torros Mountains. It is 410 m long and is classified as a horizontal and semi-dry cave. A 360-meter section is open to visitors. The width and height of the cave's excursion routes in the four main halls vary between 10-15 m. Today, water drips from the ceiling in places and therefore pasta stalactites are formed. The cave is illuminated with electricity. There is also a generator in case of a city power outage. The temperature inside the cave is constant throughout the year, 18 °C. There are small pools inside the cave and a lake with a surface of 200 m² and a depth of 2 meters in the last section.

Went there for some sightseeing. I would not book a whole tour but rather rent a car or scooter and go up there yourself, the whole trip is a gift already. It’s high up in the mountains and you’ll probably want to stop here and there to have a look around. Inside the cave it’s quite amazing seeing how nature does her thing spanning over thousands of years. It’s quite large but inside takes about an hour. Depending how you climb those stairs or crawl up and down. Considering the price for a ticket inside it’s definitely worth a look. Even the kids after complaining they don’t want to look at some boring rocks, found it very interesting and somewhat thrilling. They are 5 and 9. Outside we had something small to eat which was reasonable nothing spectacular and the kids had some ice cream. We had a few fun hours before we went down to the river.

We enjoyed it much, there were 2 paths once you enter the cave. The right one is short with about 50m long. The left path is more than 300m long and you can see some stalactites and stalagmites named for what they resemble. There was a flute like music you hear coming from deep in the cave. Once we walked there we saw an old man blowing ney (an eastern flute) that adds an authentic flavor to your visit. The entrance of the cave is at the foot of a mountain and the air in the cave is cool but damp. When you come out of the cave be ready for a sweat shower. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the view. At the end of the long path there is a puddle that has been there for years. We were really satisfied about the cave. Just be careful with the wet stairs. At the entrance there is a text about how the cave has evolved.

Worth a visit if you're nearby. People take one way taxi or return taxi, come by rented scooters. First you may enjoy nice views from multiple viewpoints. Then you can buy tickets (18 liras or 2 Eur pp) and enter the cave. Mask are required, but you may buy one in ticket office for 1 lira. Inside the cave there are two routes - 350 and 50 meters long. You may visit both of it, because it is not a circular route - you should come back by the same path. It is not cold inside and doesn't require special shoes ir clothing. In a cafe beside the cave you may get tasty freshly squeezed orange juice for 15 liras (400 ml) and enjoy nice view.

Wow, this cave is absolutely awe-inspiring! It's divided into two sections: a 50-meter cave and an expansive 300-meter one. Don't miss the enchanting lake at the end of the 300-meter stretch. If you keep quiet, you might even catch the faint echoes of bats echoing through the cave. The rock formations here are truly a sight to behold. Be prepared for some humidity; the cave can get quite muggy, and you might feel some atmospheric pressure changes. All things considered, visiting this cave is a definite must if you find yourself in the area. It's a unique and mesmerizing experience that's worth every bit of the adventure.
