Sehr schöner, nicht überlaufener Strand. Wir waren am südlichen Strand. Für das Parken zahlten wir (2024) 60 TL, ca. 1,70€, beim Einfahren auf den Parkplatz. Der Kassierer/Wächter machte uns darauf aufmerksam, dass das Essen, Rauchen und der Konsum von Alkohol am Strand untersagt sei. Dies hatten wir sowieso nicht vor. Vorteil dadurch ist die Sauberkeit des Strandes. Es fliegen nicht mal Plastikverpackungen von z.B. Trinkröhrchen, rum oder Deckel von Flaschen, wie man es leider von Stränden am Meer kennt. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr schön, farblich passend zum Strand, angelegt, was u.a. Zäune, Stände, etc. angeht. Auf dem Weg vom Parkplatz zum Strand, ca. 100m, passiert man kleine Hütten, welche als geräumige Umkleiden dienen, Outdoorduschen, Tische mit Bänken unter Bäumen, wo man sehr gemütlich picknicken kann. Der Strand selbst hat keine Liegen. Das Wasser ist nicht salzig, und bis zur Begrenzung knietief. Die Begrenzung sollte nicht passiert werden, dort fällt der Boden steil ab und ab da soll es gefährlich werden. Dadurch ist leider ein Schwimmen nicht möglich. Dadurch, dass die Umgebung als Naturschutzgebiet deklariert wurde, fehlen glücklicherweise Hotelbetonbauten, die das Ambiente stören würden. Das in der Nähe befindliche Städtchen ist ebenfalls im Vergleich zu anderen türkischen Städten sehr schön angelegt, die Hauptstraße ist nahezu durchgehend mit Blumen bestückt, die Randsteine sind neu und unbeschädigt, was einem signalisiert, dass sich gekümmert wird. Kurz gesagt: Die Verantwortlichen haben dort alles richtig gemacht. Haben einen Blick für Ästethik entwickelt, welcher nicht auf bloßen Kommerz aus ist. Ich hoffe, sie behalten...

A white clean beach, an unbelievable blue gradient of water and mighty waves (which are quite unique for a lake).
There are almost no people comparing to the rest of typical Turkish beaches and it makes this place just great!
