“Burhaniye İskele ve çevresi gerçekten Ege’nin en güzel köşelerinden biri. Sessiz, sakin, huzurlu… İskelede gün batımını izlemek başlı başına bir ritüel. Yanına bir çay, belki bir simit al, geç otur; zaman duruyor sanki.

Plajlara gelirsek… Ören Plajı pırıl pırıl, geniş ve kumluk. Deniz sığ olduğu için özellikle çocuklu aileler için biçilmiş kaftan. Pelitköy Plajı ise biraz daha sakin, dalga sesiyle kitap okumalık. Denizi biraz daha serin ama tertemiz. Altınkum Plajı da çok güzel; adını gerçekten hak ediyor, incecik altın gibi kumu var. Şemsiye kiralama, duş gibi imkânlar da var. Plajların genelinde deniz tertemiz, yosun neredeyse yok denecek kadar az. Sabah erken saatte girersen su cam gibi.

Burhaniye genel olarak fazla turistik yerler gibi yapay değil. Hâlâ mahalle kültürü var, esnafı güler yüzlü, yeme içme fiyatları uçmamış. Kalabalıktan uzak, doğayla iç içe, huzur dolu bir tatil isteyenler için kesinlikle...
