The place to see turtles in Turkey!!! I saw 5-6 turtles swimming among the boats that moored at the harbor at 10:30am. Wonderful experience! No need to rent a kayak to see turtles. It was also nice to walk along the beach to the far end where the river stream is. The beach is perfect for nature lovers, but has no facility for beach loungers though because it's a...

We came here in early June, rented a kayak, and paddled down the nearby river. Amazing how many turtles there were!! We didn’t expect to see so many.

The water isn’t always clear so it can be hard to see… but if you are quiet you will notice them moving and breathing. They gather near the reeds on the side of the river. A few swam...

Same thing with a lot of Turkey. Garbage everywhere. It's a known sea turtle place yet boats go in and out with extreme speed. You literally walk through gas and oil in the water you can see. The beach is full of plastics, glass bottles, etc. Turkey really needs to step up and make an environmental change and protect...
