The water color is a beautiful blue you won't see this color so often in a sea or ocean. Yet i have other comments about this place and here they come. Firstly, i need to mention that you can't go to Kabak beach by car. You can however go to a point close to Kabak beach and get a minibus from there. The minibus takes you through a locked gate and soiled road not asphalt. So it is very dusty and better not to bring your own car. It could turn to light pink in 5 minutes. Anyways, the minibus ride takes about 5 minutes and we paid 5 lira when we had a full minibus and coming back there was only 7 people in the bus and driver said 7 people will share 50 lira and everyone paid arpund 7.5 lira which is about 1 dollar on current exchange rates. From the drop off point you walk 2 minutes to the beach and on the way there is a small shop that you can buy snacks and beach stuff, next to it there is a wc but only one person bathroom per gender. I guess it could be crowded if the beach is full. Kabak beach itself is full of stones and small rocks. It is not one of those pristine beaches with white sand. So stones on the beach burn your feet a bit and once you get in the water they hurt too but if you can swim in the deeper parts the water is turquoise blue very beautiful. The day we went there i can't say it was super clean. Some parts were a little dirty but overall the water was ok and the warmth of the water was perfect. Not cold not hot. Refreshing. We rented beach umbrellas for 25 liras. So that is another extra if you need to use them. I probably won't go there again because of the stoney beach. But if that is not a problem for you, you can also find bungalows and camping site very close to it. Keep...
Read moreThere are water cabs operating on this beach I had the worst experience with one of the boatmen named bayram
Unfortunately there's no page for him here, but I want someone to read this.
Byram was very angry that we took 6 people from paradise beach even though he said before that his boat could take 6 people, he was unhappy that we were looking for people on the beach to join us, he would have been understandable if he could have explained his displeasure normally but the following happened The man just went crazy, started up and started yelling, driving very fast in the waves, we were shaking very unsafely, when we got to the beach pub he didn't stop yelling without even letting us get a word in, insulting us and demanding money. I don't want anyone else to have this experience, it finally spoiled my impression of Turkey.
The beach itself:
The place is often stormy, a lot of trash is brought there, the beach is far from always having clean water The place is picturesque, but terribly expensive cafes, often dirty, strange contingent of workers, it is advisable to pass it by if you are a traveler and go...
Read moreSo let me start with, there is nothing, absulut nothing special about this beach. Moreover, it does not have a stable road, so either you will park, then walk for about 3 km, or you will get a bus, which will cost you 6 liras by summer 2018. And the road, was definetely the scariest road I have ever been. Barely enough for one car, just by the slope, dust etc. After this terrifying experience, you will get to the seaside, where there is an awfully managed bar. Staff was rude, impertinent, place was expensive. There is no lounger by the beach, only if you come with yours or put your towel on the gravel.
From here you can take a speed boat to nearby beaches. It costs 50 liras per person. Most worth seeing one is Kelebekler Vadisi. Boat will take you there, let you stay there for two hours then take you back to Kabak. It was a fun trip, saved our day.
The management of the busses are terrible, they don't match the timeline and there are not enough for busy hours, so you have to literally fight for a place in the bus. Another stressful aspect of this place.
Overall, it won't...
