Warning: the road is bumpy, therefore either you SUV or book the trip with an agency (not quite sure if this option is available). It was quite a drive to get up there. The road was bumpy and not in the best condition. I don’t think a lot of tourists drive up there but this is purely a personal impression during my visit in the last week of September. The weather luckily was fantastic. Parking spaces are available up there and then you have to walk uphill to get to the mosque, although this shouldn’t be a big issue. The mosque is relatively small but very beautiful. I prayed Thuhur there. Afterwards we enjoyed the views while sitting at the small park opposite to the mosque drinking tea. The top two kms of the road are almost always foggy. If you are a tourist i would suggest to park your car at Guneysu town near the mosque and hire a cab to and fro from the taxi station next to the mosque.
