Do not be intimidated, you will walk approximately 400 meters along the river, and then you will descend from the path towards the waterfall for 50 meters. . Enjoy swimming and relaxing with friendly local people in the lake in front of a small waterfall with cool water and a magnificent view. . Read moreQuite difficult to find but worth the effort. If you're travelling from Toparlar towards Akyaka, then look out for the "Kaptan Dinlenme" services. The sign for the Selale is ~ 1km beyond that. Take the track as far as you can and park up. Look for the red and white stripes on the rocks which indicate the path. A red X means "not this way"! You'll cross the river several times so I'd advise walking sandals. There are a whole series of falls, none of them huge but the scenery is spectacular. On the day I visited, it was rainy and due to the lack of suitable clothing, I didn't progress much beyond the the main 8m fall. I'll return...

The drive up is a gravel track and there is a small area which you can pull in and park before the no motor vehicle access signs.
We visited on a mid week morning. There was no one else around, and it was a pleasant walk up the side of the river to the waterfall and natural pool. We had a swim- although it was suitably chilled!
The walk took maybe 15-20 minutes including stopping for photographs. The path is gravel for part, then paved at the top. There is a section where you have to cross the river. Would not be OK for those with mobility...
