Keçiören Evcil Hayvanlar Parkı — Attraction in Keçiören

A place of natural beauty and soul inspiring environment located Kecioren area of Ankara. This is a park housing well-known domestic or domesticated breeds. The park hosts different collections of birds, fished, antelop and kangaroos, horses, donkeys and mares, goats, etc from all the continent of the world. The park also hosts an artificial waterfall feeding a pondlike stream, where almost all of birds; flamingo, guinea fowls, doves, ducks and goose, and the domestic fowls converge. I want to add some notes about this park. I think noone is responsible for this park. Today I have visited there but there were no staff. There was a peacock and I think it was dead. We told to the security guard but she did not give attention. The animals were hungry. Goats' cabins were empty. There was no food. If you do not know how to look after them you can close them. Türkiye'nin ilk evcil hayvanlar parkı olan Keçiören Evcil Hayvanlar Parkı, Ankara Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından yaptırılmış olup 1998 yılında hizmete açılmıştır. Keçiören Uyanış Mahallesi, Aşıkpaşa Caddesi üzerinde bulunan park, yaklaşık 17.000 m2 bir alana kurulmuştur.

Parkta keçi evi, koyun evi, kuş evi, köpek evi, tavşan evi, kuğu evi, midilli evi ve mağara şeklinde düzenlenmiş olan akvaryum bölümünün yanı sıra bir çocuk parkı, 200 kişilik bir kapasiteye sahip kafeterya, aileler için piknik alanı ve yapay bir şelale de bulunuyor.

Yazlık ve kışlık bölümlerden oluşan parkta hayvanların sağlık durumlarını devamlı kontrol edecek bir de veteriner ekip bulunuyor. Parkta, hayvanların tedavi ve bakımlarının yaptırılabileceği bir klinik de mevcuttur. Bu hizmetten Ankara'daki tüm hayvan sahipleri de yararlanabilmektedir.
