Turgut Falls — Attraction in Marmaris

Hey, we were there in August 2024. The most Important Thing is, to come early. We went there @10:30 and it was perfect, we were almost alone the view and the fall were super. Some time between 12 and 13 O'Clock arrive the horde of people who get there with their "Buggy Tour". When all the People are there, of course the water isnt perfect anymore due to the people raising dust out of the floor. Long Story Short: its wonderful when you get there early, and its only half as nice when you are there @Lunchtime or later.

The road to the Fall isnt the best, but its far away from impossible to get there with a rental car ;-)

BEAUTIFUL WATERFALLS!!!!

The pools are lovely to swim in, so refreshing and clean. The waterfall is beautiful, i put my face underneath it and it feels incredible like i am very connected to nature. Cant believe this place is free what a treasure. Worth going to. You can also jump from the platfrom above big waterfall just be careful of depth and proceed at own risk. I went at the end of summer season so there were very few other people around which was lovely but apparently at peak summer it gets very busy with tour groups being shuttled...

After leaving the tourist area behind you will be able to enjoy the Waterfalls of Turgut. You could for example hang your feet's into the ice-cold water or discover the paths which will guide you into the surrounding nature . Luckily there is also a restaurant not far from the entrance of the area. İt is specialized in barbecuing brook trout, which you can choose or catch in a separated basin with fresh water.
