On the surface, this hotel seems to have it all: spa essentials (hamam, 2 pools, hot tub, steam room, sauna, massage rooms), gym, really well decorated throughout, modern luxury finishes, etc.... but beneath the surface the lack of attention to detail makes for a really disappointing experience. Take the spa for example, which was gorgeously decorated and made you feel like youre in an ancient Roman spa. But the hot tub was a luke warm temperature at all times. Also the pool looked directly into the toilet in the women's bathroom. Why not put up a divider? Also the outdoor pool was closed, and looked so dirty. While we were in the gym, 2 cats came in and 1 peed in the corner. The rowing machine was broken. And the treadmill would "catch" the treadmill when you start running. And the thermostat didn't work so it was really hot. We were excited about the balcony, hoping to catch some hot air balloon sights in the morning. But we were disappointed to find out that the balcony was still under construction. The lobby had a random metal detector gate. Which wasnt functional and was a huge eye sore and made you feel like you were in a government building or something. Why not just get rid of it? Things in the room was the same story. We stayed in the suite duplex, which again was gorgeously decorated but functionally a little off. For example the luggage and closet area was when you first walk in the door, but there was no closet upstairs or even anywhere to put luggage. The air vents was installed directly above the bed and pointed downward, which blew air directly in your face. Also the black out blinds was all or nothing, so you cant partially close the blinds. When I tried to use the curtain tie backs, I found out they were decorative and non functional. The shower door leaked water which spilled into the middle of the bathroom. After calling maintenance they determined that it was due to a slow drain, so the water pooled and overflowed. They did clean the drain and that foxed the issue. But still, shouldn't the shower door still prevent water from leaking? The razor had bits of hair in the blades, which meant they probably packed up an old razor. I was too grossed out to use any of the other amenities. The bathroom robes had a belt loop that was broken. On the bright side, the front desk was super friendly and responsive. They helped us call a taxi and was quick to address the shower situation. Breakfast buffet had a large selection every morning. Overall, this is a 3 star hotel with 4 maybe 5 star veneer. It's fine to stay at but just lower your expectations.

The hotel in general is new, the room are absolutely stunning, really clean and the staff members were very friendly. The view from the terrace during sunset is breathtaking! The buffet was good as well, but nothing extraordinary though! I had an exceptional experience at the spa. I stayed two nights at the hotel and indulged in a massage both evenings—opting for the VIP package. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, and the staff stood out for their professionalism, respect, and warmth. The atmosphere throughout the spa is serene and deeply calming, offering the perfect me time during your holidays! A special thank you to Turgay, who guided me through the package options with such care and clarity, helping me make the most of my time there. One small suggestion: I’d love to see the wellness centre designated for adults only. The peaceful spa ambience was occasionally interrupted by the sounds of children, which didn’t quite match the tranquil setting. For me, the night time sessions was the best time to avoid the screaming kids —They juat unmatched in their stillness and restorative power from the spa! The foam massage is a must to do!

We stayed at Barceló Hotels Cappadocia for 4 days in June with my boyfriend, and the experience was absolutely incredible. The hotel offers every possible luxury and comfort — it’s stunning, elegant, and super modern. Our suite had a huge private terrace, a jacuzzi in the bathroom (in addition to a separate shower), and all the little details that make a stay truly special. One of our favorite parts was the hotel spa, where we enjoyed massages, the hammam, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. One tip: be mindful when ordering alcoholic drinks — in Turkey, they tend to be very expensive. The hotel restaurant is also on the pricier side, but the breakfast buffet, which was included in our stay, is totally worth it — a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, this hotel offers full luxury at a moderate price, and we completely recommend it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
