We went on a very hot Wednesday, three people (sister and brother — both adults — and our mother). The Beltur beach, that was our first choice, was full, so we walked about 20 minutes under the sun to this beach instead. The entrance was 500TRY (vs 350 at Beltur) per person, but there were a bunch of free umbrellas, so we stayed.

There’s a toilet, an open shower and several changing cabins, a mirror outside. The sea is full of seaweed as is normal for this sea afaik, but those are small pieces that didn’t bother us at all, and besides, one of the guys was cleaning the water every once in a while. The beach is shingle (stone), but you don’t have to enter through the shore, as there’s a pier with two ladders into the deep part of the water.

We didn’t order food, but the staff were polite, spoke perfect English, and the ice cream and water that we ordered were brought to us immediately. We paid by card, and a boat took us back to the port free of charge.

It’s a bit on the expensive side, but overall would recommend. My guess is, not too many people go to this beach as it’s further from the port and a bit of a walk, so it’s not...

Let’s break it down on the pros and cons:

(Entrance fee 1250 TL - July 2025 ; includes the sun bed and seats)

Pros

✅ it is a very intimate place, it wouldn’t get too crowded so for a day with friends like I wanted was great (10 of us) ✅ they had someone cleaning the water during the whole day ✅ very beautiful set up and view ✅ they don’t allow kids under 12 and men coming alone - heaven for a get away with the girlies

Cons

❌ The staff that welcomed us was quite rude because apparently my friend didn’t complete the booking - but there was space and there was no need to be talking trying to prove a point for 10 minutes, not necessary and unprofessional. ❌ food was not good apart from the chips ❌ the sea is full of seaweed - for me it’s okay but some people don’t like it so I want to mention it ❌ waiters take too long to pass around, as it looks more like a high standard location we’d expect better service tbh

Overall I’d come back for a quiet place with not many people, if they improve the food and service this place can go from okay...

Poor service where the staff can't charge a Visa Platinum card that works even in African war zones. Very unfriendly staff - when we asked if they can open another umbrella they responded "yes, you can open". Never seen such poor service anywhere in Turkey. The entrance is 22 euro per person for the beach that requires swimming shoes because of the rocks. The set up looks nice and the food was OK as well as drinks. If you don't mind poor service after 2 hourson a boat from Istanbul, poor communication and u friendly attitude you can enjoy the place. Also, they seem to prefer local visitors who were served better and were the majority. Go figure!
