İnceburun — Attraction in Sinop

İnceburun, Anadolu'nun en kuzey noktasıdır. Karadeniz'e uzanan Sinop Yarımadasının kuzeybatı ucunda yer alır. Sinop il merkezine 20 km uzaklıktadır. Burun, katılaşmış lav ve aglomeralardan oluşur. Üst Kretase (Tebeşir) Döneminde (Kretase Dönemi, y. 136-65 milyon yıl önce) ait volkanik yüzeyde lavlar, aglomeralara oranla daha geniş yer tutar. Lavlar, sütun biçiminde ve çok çatlamış bazaltlardan oluşur. Bazaltlar ve aralarındaki aglomeralar bu kesimde genellikle kuzey ve kuzeybatıya doğru tabakalı biçimde bir eğim gösterir. Dik falezli kıyılarla çevrilen İnceburun'un açığında bulunan ve aynı volkanik kayaçlardan oluşan Davşan Adası, küçük bir kaya parçasıdır ve en kuzey noktadır. Burna en yakın köy Kurtkuyusu mezrasıdır. Köyün önünden başlayıp, kuzeye, İnceburun'a gidildiğinde, oradan doğuya dönülüp kıyıdan Başkaya Burnu'na, ardından güneydoğuya dönüp kıyıyı Hamsilos'a kadar takip edildiğinde kıyının kayalık ve girintili çıkıntılı olduğu görülür. Hatta Hamsilos'un başında yüksek kayalar olması nedeniyle Türkiye'nin tek fiyordu olarak billinir ancak bu doğru değildir. ———-

Inceburun is the northernmost point of Anatolia. It is located at the northwestern tip of the Sinop Peninsula extending into the Black Sea. It is 20 km away from the city center of Sinop. The cape is composed of solidified lava and agglomerates. In the volcanic surface of the Upper Cretaceous (Chalk) Period (Cretaceous Period, 136-65 million years ago), lavas occupy a larger area than agglomerates. Lavas are composed of columnar and very cracked basalts. Basalts and the agglomerates between them generally show a layered slope towards the north and northwest in this section. Davsan Island, which is located off the coast of Inceburun surrounded by steep cliffs and consists of the same volcanic rocks, is a small piece of rock and is the northernmost point. The closest village to the cape is Kurtkuyusu hamlet. If you start from the village and go north to İnceburun, then turn east and follow the coast to Başkaya Cape, then turn southeast and follow the coast to Hamsilos, you will see that the coast is rocky and indented. There is no transportation to the lighthouse. You either going to hitchhike there or walk around like 10 miles. If you are not fancy to walk that much don't worry 'cause lots of people visit there especially in the summer season. So, pretty sure someone will stop by and get you there. Well, considering others in Turkey, pathways are pretty good. So, there are lots of places on the way, you're going to like if you are nature oriented. That one is for the hikers.

Sinop merkezden yaklaşık 20 dakika süren bir yolculuktan sonra, ortamın sessizliğini sadece dalga seslerinin bozduğu bir yere vardık. Karşımızda Dupduru gökyüzüyle birleşen, alabildiğine masmavi bir deniz, ufuk çizgisi ve önünde yapayalnız, bembeyaz, sade bir fener vardı. Issızlıktaki huzuru anlatan bir tablo gibiydi burası. İşte şimdi olmuştu. Türkiye’nin en kuzeyinde, İnce Burun Deniz Feneri’nin yanı başındaydık.

Öyle tahmin ediyoruz ki Rüzgarı hiç eksik olmayan Karadeniz’in bin bir türlü hırçınlığına şahit olmuştur İnceburun Deniz Feneri. Hatta kış aylarında fenere kadar uzanan dev dalgalar oluyormuş diye de duyduk Sinoplulardan. Fakat hırçın Karadeniz ile yalnız fener hep bir orta yolu bulmuşlar belli ki. Yapıldığı gibi sapasağlam duruyor yerinde fener.İyi de sırf bir fener görmek için Türkiye’nin en kuzey noktasına kadar gidilir mi diyenler için buraya neden gelinmesi gerektiğini de anlatmak istiyoruz kısaca.
