A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Eskişehir
Kent Park is a true gem nestled in the heart of Eskişehir, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This park is a must-visit for both locals and tourists alike.
The Good: Natural Beauty: Kent Park boasts lush greenery, picturesque lakes, and well-maintained gardens. It's a paradise for nature lovers and a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful picnic. You can even feed the fish or swan in the lake while watching sunset and eating corn or ice creams ;)
Recreational Facilities: The park provides a wide range of recreational opportunities. Whether you're into boating on the lake, cycling on the scenic paths, or enjoying a game of basketball or volleyball, there's something for everyone. There also science park, horse riding and also man made beach Although there is no sea in Eskişehir, you can swim in an artificial beach located within the city park, with a length of more than 350 meters.
This park provide swimming area, not natural all design for as it look like real beach, sandy beach, river or look like small sea but it was ok design not that great, could be better
Price is fair but the facility is not that good, the changing room is just round wood for 5/4 small space room only for 1 people to get in. İt's was cramped not secure and really uncomfortable.
Family-Friendly: Kent Park is incredibly family-friendly. There are playgrounds for children, making it an ideal destination for families looking to spend quality time together.
Tram Accessibility: Getting to Kent Park is a breeze via the city's tram system. You can reach the location from çarşı just follow the tram line to OTOGAR SSK Redline your destination statiomn stop should be to OTOGAR and you walk from the tram station approx 750m to Kentpark just follow google maps walk guidance from the station it's quite near. The nearest tram station is easily accessible, making it convenient for visitors to reach the park without the hassle of traffic.
The Not-So-Good:
Crowds: During peak times, the park can get quite crowded, especially on weekends. However, this is a testament to its popularity among locals.
The shower and changes room were not maintain well and really built as it is is not quite safe not divide which one woman area or man.
Restaurant and cafe Within the park there were couple cafe price range not that expensive but not much variety of food.
İn the swimming or beach area ; The toilet is quite far not place strategically between the swimming area.
The canteen or cafe also not organized neatly and good. it's was chaos and long queuing when people buying food or drink.
Maintenance: While the park is generally well-maintained, some areas may require a bit more attention. Toilet white far, also the masjid or mosque quite a walk.. they should make it more reachable in walking distance or istaurwdd it in center not that far. However, it doesn't significantly detract from the overall experience.
In summary is a tranquil oasis that offers a perfect blend of nature and recreation. It's an excellent place to unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. With its easy tram accessibility, it's a must-visit attraction in Eskişehir for anyone seeking a peaceful...
Read moreAn excellent recreational park well suited to the need of people of all ages; children's park/playing ground, nice lawns at the river bank, walking/trotting lanes, sport/exercise arenas, restaurants and cafes, and public toilets. The love for statues in Eskisehir is also very evident in the park complex. My attention was particularly drawn to the symbol of Turkey-South Korea friendship and a Chinese art exhibition. The park complex is a must-see for anyone visiting Eskişehir and is located within short walking distance, about 3 minutes away from the Eskişehir...
Read moreKent Park is a lovely, clean park. The "beach" is totally worth the 18tl/adult (kids under six free), especially for the little ones. Water does eventually get deep, but it is shallow for a reasonable way out and the change in concrete color is a useful guide. Separate family and single men's zones. The rest of the park is quiet, beautifully landscaped. Did not get to try horse riding options, but it is there. Playground is great. Great place to take the family! Keep being...
