Mabamba Swamp Bird Watching — Attraction in Entebbe City

I'm an amateur wildlife photographer and my friends and I had a spectacular experience with Wilson on this shoebill tour into the Mabamba wetlands! The communication ahead of time was clear, the pricing was transparent and fair, and the entire experience was extraordinary.

Wilson found the shoebill swiftly, and we spent a wonderful amount of quiet time observing this incredible animal. Wilson provided expert insights into the shoebill and a wide variety of plants and animals in the swamp. We saw saddle-bill stork, numerous kingfishers and egrets, hammerkop, and a wide variety of birds.

To emphasize what a thoughtful and dedicated guide Wilson is, after the tour concluded and we had said goodbye, my drive to the airport was disrupted by an out-of-commission ferry: Wilson sprang into action and came to the ferry point to ensure that I would be able to make my flight by helping me get a water taxi across a portion of Lake Victoria! He then accompanied me to ensure I got where I needed to go safely.
