I went to AAG to view an exhibition titled "Come Sit With Me: The Diary if a Free Thinker" by Princess Komuntale Charlene. The underlying feminist and Mental health themes were portrayed exceptionally well through digital art that shared how the artist engages with different aspects of Feminism from both a realist and idealistic view.
The use of contemporary symbolism also makes the pieces relatable and accessible even for non feminist audiences. I absolutely enjoyed myself and left feeling deeply inspired by Charlene's work.
I highly recommend this exhibition which will be on till December 2023. It is also FREE to the public. Guided tours are also available by request.
