I can say that Kampala, the capital city of Uganda is also the capital of religion in East Africa coz basing on the number of cathedrals and other notable places of worship like the Namugongo Shrine, Rubaga Cathedral, Namirembe Cathedral, Baha'i Temple and so many others it is in deed also a religion capital of the East African region.
When in Kampala, create some time to visit the St Mary's Cathedral at Rubaga Hill. It is a very beautiful house of worship. I understand that at least 3 pope's have visited this church. It has so much history that you shouldn't miss.
Entry to the Rubaga cathedral is FREE. You don't have to pay anything. If lucky you can also be able to see inside the church. Taking of photos is also allowed. Take as many as you can. If you have much time you can also come on Sunday for a service.

Sitting halfway up could barely see 👀 anything. These should be quick fixes but don't...

Kampala is fabled to have 7 hills. It in fact has 22 but Rubaga is one of the original ones and, therefore, worth a visit for historical reasons. The cathedral also boasts a memorial to the first African Catholic bishop in Uganda martyred for the cause of bringing Catholicism to Uganda and is the current headquarters of the Catholic...
