This place is amazing both for its story and history and also for what a complete disconnect it offers. Once here, there is no telecom network. So you can get a total detox as you enjoy maximum fun.
Aruu Falls is one of those amazing places to visit in Uganda. Originating from top the hills among rocks, gashing water struggles its way downwards, forming a beautiful pattern of three tributaries before they disappear into the thickets to form a river.
Aruu Falls is located about 50 kilometres on the Gulu Kitgum road. The only option available there now is camping in tents and a picnic arrangement - carry your food and have a cooking/catering plan.

We were with Otul tours. The tour was gorgeous and made us chillex so well. Everything was nice except the people tried to us over charged. At the first time they charge us 25k each and 5k more for guide. Our friend who is korean visit here last month and she paid only 10k. And now they’re asking us foreigner price for $5.(even it means about 17000 silling) We complaint them. And they charge us 20000 silling each including guide and parking.

Then UGx 5,0000($1.5) is payable for the services of a tour guide on site to take you around. In August and throughout summer the water levels are slightly lower as opposed to monsoon seasons.
