Two stars for the free entrance and contact zoo for the kids, but I'd rather pay. It's sad. It's sad to see how many animals are in small cages and clearly depressed. It's sad to see meerkats in a glass cubicle of 2 by 5 metres, standing all the time under an infrared lamp. I've never ever in my life seen a depressed meerkat, and there it was. I'm not even gonna speak about leopards, pumas, lions and tigers. The whole place looked half abandoned and very untidy, and I'll repeat it - sad.The kids playgrounds are worn out, and some of the slides were super slow because the sliding cover had disappeared. I know it's not a season yet, but it's several days before May holidays. I hope a miracle will happen,...
Read moreOne of the best place in Kharkiv to spend time (especially with friends and family). You will see a variety of animals here with a considerable big area into which the park is situated. Try to come in between May to October to get the best experience possible. It's good to keep in mind that it will take your while day so come pre-planned by taking this into consideration! International tourists should bring some food with them as they won't find anything special here for them, but fir local residents it's not an issue as there are several food points in the park. Don't forget to take a camera...

At the entrance you can see a few replicas of classic cars, one of them is Shelby Cobra and you can take a ride in it but only with the driver. From start there is a route to follow but its hard keep track on it so you can just go in the direction you feel most interestd in. Alot of animals and activities to keep you entertained. Also you are allowed to feed some animals and at the far end there is a lake in which you can swim. Overall a great place to visit and...
