Sovky Park — Attraction in Kyiv

Nice park between Borshagivka and Svyatoshin districts in Kyiv, not really close to the subway so probably going there by car is the only comfortable way. I use to run in this park and it is pretty cool, especially in hot seasons of the year when you can use dirt roads - in Winter, when the snow is lying there it becomes wet and uncomfortable, so only asphalt roads then = if focusing on running aspects pretty nice park with pine trees approximately 1,7 km circuit. Seems pretty nice also for walks, especially with children in baby carriages age, with at least one playing ground for older kids and football field. Lots of barbecue & drinking people on hot weekends - if that is your choice of activity - this is a place for u, there are special wooden "houses" with barbecue areas available for rent but also lots of people are just doing it widely, setting campfires everywhere around - honestly it becomes pretty annoying for all other people, lots of smoke, barbecue smell, loud drinking people etc, therefore i rather avoid this park on sunny weekends nethertheless i really like it for running on working days or bad weather weekends. If You live in the area - awesome place, for me its second or even third choice place because i have to drive around 20 minutes...

Главный минус- месторасположение. Засрачник редкий. Второй минус: есть домики в аренду, а сервиса к ним нет!!!!. Т.е приходи, арендуй домик и жарь мясо сам, от слова совсем! Тот, кто хочет именно отдохнуть и нихрена не делать, увы, разочарован. Минус третий: ассортимента нет никакого,т.е если вы с детьми, заранее подумайте, что они будут там есть и пить (рядом магазин фора, но он тупо пустой! Совсем! Даже чая Липтон нет! ) На этом минусы заканчиваются. Из плюсов: Полоса препятствий 3шт (для совсем мелких, школьников и подростков) Есть батуты и лабиринт, рядом с ними можно взять в аренду шезлонг (+кальян, кому интересно) Это чудо, но есть туалеты, где ,конечно, могло бы быть и чище, но уже не кустики. Хорошие, действительно асфальтированные дороги, связанные между собой, т.е четырехлетний ребенок даже если заблудился, точно прийдёт к заранее условленному месту (специально проверяла). Парк обнесен забором приличным, подъезды к нему продуманы, пешеходные переходы ярко выражены!!! Есть кнопка экстренной помощи, полиция тоже наблюдается. Есть несколько детских площадок, пока ещё новых и красивых, мелкие развлекухи, вроде пейнтбола, ловля рыбы (для деток) и в таком духе. И последнее: можно посмотреть и покормить зверюшек, ослик, лисичка, кролики, их совсем немного, но доступ свободный. Резюме: на пару выходных можно найти там...

One of my favorite running spots* in Kyiv. It’s pretty quiet and not too crowded. Gives more of a little forest vibe rather than a park. Shockingly in Ukraine, people tend to walk their dogs on leashes. There’s a (paid) public restroom in the middle of the park and you can get coffee and snacks from tiny food trucks. I really liked that place when I stayed in the area.
