Cave Monastery in Rozhirche — Attraction in Stryi Urban Hromada

Very nice nature! The place itself is quite interesting. However it is not a place where you can spend your whole day, it's better to combine it with something else (e.g. Stop over en route to the Carpathians).

You want to drive directly to the village, you will need to make a huge de tour, but you can leave your car near the main highway and cross the river by long bridge with nice views, it will take you like 25 min, but you will not need to drive 40 extra km...

The Cave Monastery is not touristy, be prepared to be alone there. The driveway is also not suitable for lower cars for the last hundred meters so it's better to park on the street and walk the few meters. There is also no information about the Monastery on site, furthermore only the lower part of the Monastery is easy to reach by foot, advanced climbing skills are required for the upper caves. In the thickness of the main rock massif are carved three caves, located on two levels. On the first level there are two rooms, on the second - one (a staircase leads to it).
