🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Hidden Gem for Families & Animal Lovers! 🐾 Emirates Park Zoo is one of the most delightful and well-kept zoos in the UAE! Located just outside Abu Dhabi, it's an ideal day-trip destination for families, school groups, or anyone who loves animals and nature.

The zoo is beautifully organized, clean, and thoughtfully laid out with shaded walkways and resting areas, which makes it comfortable even during warmer months. There's a perfect balance between entertainment and education, making it a hit with both kids and adults.

🐘 Animal Encounters Like No Other What truly sets Emirates Park Zoo apart is the opportunity for close-up interactions with animals. From feeding giraffes and elephants to petting goats and even swimming with sea lions (yes, really!), the experiences here are unforgettable. The zoo offers rare animal encounters you won’t find in many places. 🐅 Variety of Wildlife The zoo houses a wide range of species including: Majestic big cats like white tigers and lions Exotic birds in the aviary Reptile and snake enclosures Primates, zebras, camels, and more It’s also home to a mini farm area that’s perfect for young children to safely interact with domesticated animals. 🎠 Activities & Attractions Beyond the animals, there’s plenty to keep kids entertained: Zookeeper talks & educational shows Pony & camel rides Animal feeding sessions A small amusement area with rides Interactive wildlife performances (especially loved the parrot show!) 🏨 On-Site Resort One unique feature is the Emirates Park Resort, which is connected to the zoo. Imagine waking up with a view of zebras or giraffes just outside your room! It’s an immersive safari-style experience unlike any other in the UAE. 🍔 Food & Facilities There are a few well-priced cafes and snack stands throughout the park, with options for both fast food and light bites. The washrooms and prayer rooms are clean and accessible, and there’s ample parking available. Overall Verdict: Emirates Park Zoo is an incredibly fun, interactive, and family-friendly destination. It’s not just a zoo—it's a full-day experience that combines wildlife education with entertainment. A must-visit if you're in Abu Dhabi or even just passing through! ✅ Affordable entry ✅ Great for all ages ✅ Memorable encounters ✅ Well-maintained & safe

Highly...

So here goes, I booked a gazelle room on booking.com and attached were the photos of the room i expected to enter... I entered a room that was plain white, a picture of a lion and nothing else. It was plain, no decor. No energy and looked like my first studio i ever rented in the uae 🫣😅

Upon entering reception, I was told to sit and others who had entered after me were checked in before myself and my family. The enthusiasm of being in a zoo and checking in hotel was zero. Not even helped from the team of concierges when they saw me have 4 bags, a pushchair. I'm not going to let my wife carry anything now am I? Tut tut guys.

Anyways, dropped the bags in the room after waiting around 20 minutes and thought nothing of it.

The zoo was the best part, seeing animals being taken cared for and just going about the grounds was nice until I reached the giraffe cafe where I had a coconut sorbet.

Fast forward no more than 2 hours and I am violently vomitting in the bathroom to the point even the neighbours asked if I was OK. I had gotten food poisoning and well i suffered 16 times vomitting. Not a nice experience as I'd been away travelling for work so I thought to book my wife and son a overnight stay. I was trying to hold it together then my wife said khalas we are going home.

I went to reception told them I'd contracted food poisoning and the employee had no remorse, empathy or even human interaction. Ok sorry to hear, have a nice evening is what I got.

Shocked, I walked off and the concierge grabbed my bags as he had finished his shift, he noticed i wasn't well and even watched my vomit more around the bushes (in a bag I had) offered to drive us home.

We drove home with several stops on the highway for me to vomit.

It took till Tuesday (I stayed saturday) for mamagement to get back to me after I whatsapp'd them about this situation and requesting a refund for the overnight stay yet a deducted price as we entered the zoo. Fair is fair.

"We are still investigating the matter"

I received no refund yet an upgrade and 50% discount on my next booking.

Guys, in all honesty who would return to a business who lacked in the basics of human interaction...

Have you followed our stories? The Emirates Zoo stories, were one of the most DMd with so many asking info about this place, I had to share the details as soon as I got a chance! 🤗

Hands down 🙌 this was one of the BEST Family Safari Experiences in the UAE 🇦🇪

The kids made such amazing memories, we got to feed so many animals and so much more!

You could enter as a day guest through the zoo or you could book in the Resort.

Guests who book in the resort have full access to the zoo and feeding the animals.

If you intend booking the zoo alone here are the prices ⬇️

Standard ticket price is 50 AED Explorer ticket (Entry to the zoo, enjoy all the free activities plus access to all the animals’ shows only and cost 100 AED) Children below 3 years free😉

Zip line is 30AED pp

If you intend booking with the Resort, they have 2 types of rooms; the pool facing rooms (slightly cheaper hand the Giraffe 🦒 View rooms which we booked.

The giraffe rooms also have different types of rooms, the one with giraffe view is more expensive, and the one on the side (slightly cheaper) I preferred the room without the full giraffe view, as there was some extra privacy on the side rooms, and I loved the water feature infront of our room.

The Resort rooms start from 500AED depending on type and season. Rates are without breakfast. we had a microwave and mini bar fridge in our chalet, we made breakfast in the room.

Please check with hotel on pricing for exact room type you require.
